There are two ways that production data gets into TodayApp: ECRM Integration (in which production data is sent to TodayApp from ECRM Opportunities) and Manual Entry.
Opportunity information can be manually entered in the Scripts when a Quote action is selected or by selecting the “+” icon on the left side of the screen.
In both cases, the Manual Entry form will open which enables users to create the opportunity within TodayApp. Entries will default as Sales/Written unless “Mark this product as a quote only” is selected after selecting the product, in which case it will be entered as a Quote.
Note: Even if a TodayApp account utilizes the ECRM Integration, manual entry may still be used to enter products that do not come from ECRM (such as Gainsco or Pet Insurance) or to enter/backdate goal activity.
After the manual entry form is filled out and saved, the information entered is now in the Policy Finder and will count toward reporting.
